Established in 2017

Event fundraising is about so much more than asking for money. It’s about telling your organization’s story and making an emotional connection with your donors.

Bids Up Benefit Auctions was founded in 2017 by Mark West. Mark had just retired after 30 years of public service and was looking for a way to become more involved in the community around him. He fell in love with the auction method of marketing and fundraising events in particular. 

Since 2017, Mark has helped many organizations work towards their fundraising goals. He believes that a successful event happens in the weeks and months of planning and preparation leading up to that event. Mark is passionate about turning clients into long-term partners and working as a team.
